Our roots run deep.
The Dougan family’s roots in Stanley reach back to 1876, when the family was among the community’s earliest settlers. Long before there was an insurance agency, there was a family making its home here. That connection now spans generations.
For Darrel Dougan, that history is personal. He attended the local elementary school and was part of Blue Valley High School’s first graduating class in 1971. His children later attended Blue Valley schools, continuing the family’s ties to the community.
Today, Darrel and his son Tyler carry that connection into Dougan Insurance Group. Working together from the agency’s Stilwell office, they bring a father-and-son perspective to a family-owned business: respect for what people have built, an understanding of what comes next, and a commitment to being there along the way.
Our team brings more than 100 years of combined insurance experience to those conversations. We take time to understand your home, business, and family, explain your options, and stay involved after your policy is written.
